Five Keys to the Magical Passage of Time – Part 1
I write this for those who are interested or perhaps even curious to know what it’s like to have a magical quality kind of life. It is the kind of life where you live with ease. It does not mean a Pollyana existence, you are not immune to the hardships of life. You are able to navigate rough waters with elegance, spontaneity and resourcefulness. You are able to dance gracefully to whatever music the universe throws at you – and you sense when the tune changes before it does. You know this when you experience serendipity, people call you lucky, or things flow. You make lemonades out of lemons. You notice the tiniest of littlest opportunities people miss, make connections of the random dots of life, like seeing the patterns of stars up above in the heavens. Yet without delusions, you recognize the real from the imagined, able to wield the power of both to thrive in the realms of the worlds in between. You live fully sensing the world, in all its richness and still able to transcend that.
Where it all begins is to recognise that time is an illusion. We know this, as for some of us 2019 NYE was a dejavu of sorts like the year before. It’s groundhog day.
Time is nothing but a marker of experience. Metaphors of time aside, literally time does not run. It is neither fast nor slow. A second is a second, an hour an hour and a year a year. We do not have more time or less time. We all get 24 hours seven days a week 365 days a year.
What happens is we age and we mark that with time. Time is like the page numbers and the chapters in the story of our lives. One could have three hundred pages with ten chapters, but if the content is the same on each page over and over, or the same chapter over and over, then the markers don’t mean much.
And there are of course different kinds of stories. The story you are about to create is a magical realism kind of story of life as you master the five keys to the passage of time. So, you may stop right here if you think it does not suit you. Continue as you choose if it resonates with you or intrigues you. I would love to meet you, get to know you, share our stories, as well as answers to questions known and yet to be asked.
There are not many who journey life with a certain kind of magic — at least not openly. In my own journey, I found Five Keys I continue to explore which I would like to share as you choose this path.
